Patenting on a Budget
Abstract
This presentation will focus on how to:
(a) prepare a description of an invention for a patent application; and
(b) minimize cost of the patent application process.
Biography:
Mr. Yankovich's practice is directed to preparation and prosecution of
patent applications, and also to drafting of opinions relating to
patentability and infringement. His work has been concentrated in the
fields of telecommunications, computer systems and peripheral equipment,
medical imaging, optics, electrical circuitry, software processes and
Internet applications. Prior to joining OGRP, Mr. Yankovich was employed
by Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems as an electrical engineer and a
software analyst. He designed hardware and software for radar signal
acquisition and processing for radar warning receivers used on military
aircraft. Prior to that Mr. Yankovich was employed by Picker/Cambridge
Medical Instruments, where he supervised a staff of electronic
technicians engaged in production of a variety of medical test and
imaging equipment.
