NVIDIA GTX480 Donation

The Computer Engineering Department at Fairfield University
is proud to announce;

We now have a an equipment donation valued at $7485 from Nvidia,
an 8.5B$ company (tkr:NVDA).

The 15 GTX 480 graphics cards are
suitable for our Biomedical Engineering courses and has a single
precision speed of SP: 1.35 Tflops. It can be programmed for other
tasks that require multiple small processors (each card has 480 of them).

I am hoping to grow our biomedical engineer minor, in order to emphasize the service
component of engineering.

I am CC'ing this e-mail to Meg, Jack and Rob;
Meg: Anything you can do to help us promote the biomedical engineering minor
would be greatly appreciated.
